IT’S EASY: 5 Step process of our partnership & campaign drive.

1.PLACE OLD BIKES AT THE CURB FOR PICK-UPS.
2.WE COME TO COLLECT THE DONATED BIKES.
3.THEY GO TO THE HEARTBEAT BIKES SHOP.
4.THE BIKES GET REPAIRED TO RIDE SAFELY.
5.THEY ARE OFFERED TO LOCAL FAMILIES & INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE IN NEED OF A BIKE.

“We especially like to help the helpers” says Cameron.

Heartbeat Bikes is a local bike shop located out of both a Caledon Village shop and a charity shelter in the Brampton/GTA that takes in used or broken bikes/bike parts, which are then reassembled and repurposed by youth, with the help of volunteers and mentors before being sold back into the community. Heartbeat Bike’s mission is to help youth build confidence through working on bikes, gaining life and work-related skills that they can take with them to their next jobs.

Other special initiatives during the year include clothing drives, tire recycling drives, used bike collections/donations, and more. You can watch JSC for dates and announcements.

Cameron explains that Dunk Disposal disburses materials to many different recycling, demolishing, and reuse locations in Ontario so each type of material it can be dealt with in the most responsible way possible. For example, plastics and rubber made into new products, fabrics to rehab animal shelters, cardboard to paper recycling plants, wood to farms and contractors, metal to scrap renewal businesses, cars to the Kidney Car program, clothes and toys to non-profits and charities. Remaining items usually find their way to local community centres and end up being loved again at new homes or businesses.

And Dunkerley said he’s disposed of almost everything you could name. Big or small we haul it all!

Dunk Crew Recycling Bikes To Be Donated

The company often collaborates with local churches, schools, shelters, markets, and seniors’ homes, helping them manage waste and leftover materials. Their eco-mindset means they really zero in on what can be repurposed or donated to a local needy cause.

PLEASE CONTACT US TO BOOK: We are asking local community members to contact us through social media (Instagram/Facebook), email (contact@dunkdisposal.com), or by phone to text or call (647 499 0538) to arrange a pickup time prior to the date or before the end of the day.

Donate, Don’t Dump! Our daily Dunk Disposal green initiative is to always donate, reuse, reduce and recycle for every job we complete.

Our goal is to strengthen this unique mission by offering our companies transport trucks to move the items, our strong crew members to haul and collect bikes. Most importantly we wanted to thank our whole crew, owner, event team & heartbeat bikes organization for their partnership & abilities with mechanical know-how & selflessness to give back to those who need the support.

He and his team have built a customer-focused company that is intentionally helping to redefine the possibilities of a greener future.

Proud indeed.
